Pro-team care for your athlete.

Travel baseball, softball, football, basketball, soccer, wrestling, cheer, gymnastics, swimming. The same diagnostic process Dr. Joe uses on Atlanta Dream players gets used on the eleven-year-old softball pitcher with a sore elbow.

We see a lot of youth athletes. Most of them come in through parent referrals or athletic-trainer recommendations. The honest evaluation goes both ways: we will tell parents when their kid needs a break from play, and we will tell parents when the injury is minor and they can keep going.

How we work with families

Honest answers. Honest timelines.

/01 Diagnose

A 60-minute new-patient evaluation. Full history, exam, sport context. We tell parents what we see and whether imaging or a specialist referral fits.

/02 Coordinate

We work with athletic trainers, team physicians, and PTs when parents ask us to. We don't override return-to-play decisions, we support them.

/03 Return

A phased return-to-sport plan that matches the demands of the actual sport.

FAQ

Questions we hear.

At what age can a kid see a chiropractor?

From early elementary school onward for sports-related complaints. Pediatric chiropractic uses different techniques than adult care. Dr. Corie Terwilliger handles infants and young children. Dr. Joe handles older youth athletes (typically age 10 and up).

Will you tell my kid to stop playing?

Only when the injury actually requires it. Most cases can keep playing with modifications. We don't pull kids out of sport unnecessarily.

Do you coordinate with trainers?

Yes. We coordinate with athletic trainers and team physicians at local high schools whenever a parent or athlete asks us to.

Cost without insurance?

We're cash-pay. Specific fees depend on the case. Call (770) 614-6551 for a quote. We accept HSA and FSA cards directly.

What injuries do you see most?

Little League elbow in baseball/softball. Osgood-Schlatter and Sever's in basketball, soccer, and track kids. ACL evaluations for football and soccer. Cheer and gymnastics back pain. Concussion-related cervical care.
