DOES THERPEUTIC MASSAGE AND CHIROPRACTIC GO TOGETHER?

Therapeutic massage is one of the best complements to chiropractic care, because it helps prepare the body for better adjustments while also relieving muscle tension and pain.  Additionally, it not only helps prevent future injuries but also aids in overall rest and stress relief.  Plain and simple, since muscles are attached to bones and joints, it is very important for them to be stretched and relaxed so that your body functions at an optimal level.

Our massage therapist specializes in a variety of modalities and is available in our Buford office every Tuesday from 3-7pm or by appointment during the rest of the week.

MEET OUR MASSAGE THERAPIST

Danielle Grimaldi graduated from Atlanta School of Massage in 2000 with certification as an Integrated Massage Therapist.  Her massage approach features a variety of modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Thai, and Reflexology, customized for each client’s needs.  Additional certifications include: Prenatal, Post-Partum, Reflexology, Thai Yoga Bodywork Level 1, and Hot Stone Massage.

Danielle’s passion for living a natural and holistic lifestyle has led her to pursue Herbology studies at the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine in Asheville, NC.  Through these studies, her knowledge and training in Aromatherapy, Herbal Remedies, and Natural Skincare has helped her create a unique and healing massage session that is essential for wellness and balance.

Additionally, Danielle has over 11 years experience in the spa industry.  She originally began her career with Jurlique Holistic Skin Care as a trainer, while working as a massage therapist at Quintessence Day Spa until it closed in 2005.  Quintessence was renamed the Jurlique Wellness Spa and relocated to the InterContinental Hotel in Buckhead, where Danielle proudly came on board as Lead Massage Therapist and Trainer at Spa InterContinental when Jurlique Wellness Spa closed.

In 2007, Danielle was promoted to Spa Manager at Spa InterContinental, where she successfully ran, managed, and developed a holistic “green” Wellness Spa which utilized all natural and organic product lines including Amala, Jurlique, and Woodsprite.
